Why I Love Shooting At This Italian Wedding Venue

I cant begin to imagine how many wedding venues there are on our amazing planet. However up there with the best has to be Borgo Corsignano Tuscany in the village of Poppi. Of all of the Italy Wedding Locations there are this piece of paradise is surrounded by the Casentino hills. You really will struggle to find a more romantic wedding venue than this gem in the Tuscan countryside. Its so nice in fact I’ve decided to write this article on why I love shooting weddings here so much. Being a Tuscany Wedding Photographer this venue has to be my favourite. Heres Why.

Exclusive Tuscan Villas

If your hosting your destination wedding here then the exclusivity of this wedding venue will no doubt temp you. The traditional and Exclusive Tuscan Villas Casa Beppe and Casa Capriolo are super cosy and have well equipped kitchens. The Tuscan style fireplaces add a little more authenticity and romance to your stay too.

The exclusivity really helps as the wedding guests can really relax and feel at home when staying here. This is great for me as my style of wedding photography is relaxed. I love to document the little moments between the bigger moments at weddings. So as people are wandering the grounds its a great opportunity for me to capture the smaller. When I’m shooting destination weddings I get to get a little closer to my weddings and get to know the guests a little more.

Beautiful Light

When I shot Mark and Megans Wedding here at Borgo Corsignano the light was just incredible. The way the light rolls over the Tuscan hills in the morning and right through to the evening. During the bridal preparations the villas have beautiful pockets of light and also great balconies to bring in the atmosphere and the landscape into the wedding photography. Whenever I’m away being an Italy Wedding Photographer I’m forever spoiled with beautiful light.

Outdoor Wedding Breakfast

One of the great things about being a Borgo Corsignano Wedding Photographer and why I love shooting here. Is when couples decide to have an outdoor wedding breakfast. The grounds here are just beautiful and beyond perfect for couples to have their wedding breakfast and speeches outside. There is an alternative place indoors if the weather doesn’t allow for this. This is equally as beautiful though. Imagine your self below with the smell of Italian air, surrounded by all those you love and having just married your best friend. Planning a Wedding in Italy may require some work but when you have places like this to have your meal its so so worth it.  I just love shooting here!

The Wedding Party

Another reason I love shooting here in Borgo Corsignano Tuscany is the party they throw here at this awesome wedding venue. Set within the grounds they have this perfect barn like annex that allows for the perfect location for the wedding party. It’s compact enough to create a perfect atmosphere, though not too tight that it’s too cramped. This allows the wedding guests to have a great time within an amazing atmosphere and in turn creates amazing opportunities for me to capture the party in the best way.

“Ste is genuine & down to earth,it felt like he was part of our tiny party of 8 guests! We have seen some guest photos & videos where you can see Ste shoot and we have all said ‘I didn’t even notice Ste shooting at that point or in that space at the time!’ I think this is a really sure sign of an excellent photographer,especially in a party as small as ours. it is clear that Ste has such a passion for his work and this is evident in his work. We honestly cannot express our appreciation enough!
