Mark + Megans Tuscany Wedding in Poppi

I’ve always loved the idea of travelling to Italy and considering I have travelled a lot over the years its a place that always eluded me. A few years back though I decided that I would like to start photographing weddings there (for obvious reasons). Covering Mark and Megan’s Tuscany Wedding in Poppi did not disappoint when it came down to “reasons for shooting weddings in Italy”.

Mark and Megan found me through their extraordinary wedding planner Gio of Accent Events. Then after a couple of phone calls and an Engagement Shoot in London I was all set to shoot this Tuscan wedding just the way Mark and Megan wanted. I remember speaking with them about planning a wedding in Italy and they said that having a planner was really the way to go.

Gio was able to help with questions like how to get your wedding dress abroad and helping to look at some of the best Italy wedding locations before they settled here.

The venue that hosted the wedding was Borgo Corsignano just outside the small village of Poppi set in the heart of Tuscany. They had the on house caterers sorting out the food and an epic party with awesome music from Truly Medley Deeply from Fix The Music.

This was the location that Mark got ready and where all the bridal preparations happened for the big day.

One of the downsides of weddings is that they go SO fast! It really does feel like a flash! From start to finish this wedding was just full of smiles. People having fun, enjoying each others company all surrounded by Italian vibes. Being an Italy wedding photographer means I get to come out here to Italy and here in Tuscany is one of my favourite places by far.

I don’t like to make my blog posts all soppy and lovey so I’ll let my images do the talking there and you can see from these below that Mark and Megan are a super happy couple! They really did choose the best time of year for an Italy wedding too. The who day was perfect.

So many great moments at this Tuscany Wedding it would be almost impossible for me to pick out a favourite moment. I’m sure Mark and Megan have their favourites.

If you do know of anyone looking for a Tuscany Wedding Photographer or a destination wedding photographer anywhere please send them my way!

I’ve so excited to share these images with you and I cant wait to deliver the rest to the newlyweds!

So turn your brightness and volume up, hit play and enjoy these…
