If you’re deciding on having a wedding in The Cotswolds then you’re in luck. What’s great about this place is that there are so many reasons for getting married in The Cotswolds though you only really need one or two before this place steals your heart. It’s an incredibly gorgeous part of not only the UK but the whole world in my opinion. That’s why if you are going to get married here you must consider one of these outdoor wedding venues in The Cotswolds. I’ve put together a short list of venues for you to consider for your outdoor wedding and I hope you find this information helpful!
Lapstone Barn
As the name suggests Lapstone Barn is a barn wedding venue in The Cotswolds. One of my favourite types of weddings venue and it’s exclusive. It has a honey-coloured 18th-century stone barn that can accommodate 200 wedding guests, with no problem. This venue has a super nice English vibe to it with its beautiful northern Cotswolds gardens and lawns all facing south. This will give you a fantastic outdoor wedding, especially in the summer.
Lapstone Barn is just a short 5-minute drive from Chipping Campden in Gloucestershire. Chipping Campden is one of the most beautiful towns not only in The Cotswolds but the whole of the UK.
Lapsstone prides itself on not being like the other Barn Wedding Venues in The Cotswolds. They put this down to its space, cost and aesthetic so be sure to arrange a visit to feel this awesomeness for yourself! They are also super proud of their staff and their ability to make sure the wedding you want is exactly how you want it to be.
The bridal party can get ready in their very own private space in the Hayloft before heading out for your wedding ceremony. You’ll say your vows on the oak floor canvassed by timber beams.
The outdoor ceremony can be undertaken in the gorgeous courtyard garden. Your wedding guests can soak up The Cotswolds country air whists witnessing a magical moment in History.
This Gloucestershire award-winning wedding venue was originally a family home in the 13th century. I love wedding venues with deep history like this. So nice for couples to get married and their story become a part of this already amazing history. They have beautiful gardens, great food and the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding here in The Cotswolds.
Beautiful, Unique and Personal are the three words that Elmore Court open its wedding page of the website with. I have a strong feeling that the message they are trying to get across is that when your wedding guests are here there is just a magical vibe in the atmosphere.
Having your wedding here will give you exclusive access to the gardens and provide the most amazing outdoor location for wedding photography.
They host both civil and other ceremonies here and you can choose between the 13th Century Elmore Church or an outdoor wedding ceremony. You can then head to the Gillyflower for your wedding breakfast and evening reception.
What’s also so great about Elmore Court is that they have a new soundproof building that won’t affect your evening reception or live up to the horror stories you hear about venues being told to turn off the music.
It’s all exclusively yours if you book this place for your outdoor wedding in The Cotswolds. Arrange a visit and check out their website and social media for more!
Kingscote Barn
The Kingscote Barn wedding venue calls itself “The Perfect Countryside Wedding Venue”. It’s privately owned and within a secret valley in The Cotswold Hills. This is a great venue for that wow factor when you approach it. It has a long private driveway that’s just perfect for building anticipation for your wedding day. This picture-perfect wedding venue is exclusive and all of the ground will be yours if you hire it for your wedding venue. From spring weddings with lambs running around or a long summer outdoor wedding with beautiful light until late.
As a Cotswold Wedding Photographer, this place is a photographer’s dream. It has its own Linhay which would add lots of character to your wedding photography whilst capturing the atmosphere of your location. If you wanted to really get a barn/farm vibe/feel into your wedding photography you can always head up to their farm for some authentic rustic images.
The more gorgeous history here in The Cotswolds for another venue that hosts outdoor weddings. Dating all the way back to the 15th century has its stunning stone building and an ancient orchard. If you have not solely done that already there’s more!
Caswell House love to take care of their couples and wedding guests with a super personal service. It has cosy and beautiful accommodation and the food and drink here is incredible. Having been a Caswell House Wedding Photographer in the past it’s a venue I love to shoot at and I’m super excited to photograph a wedding there again soon.
During Andrew and Victoria’s wedding here in the Cotswolds they had an indoor wedding though if you prefer an outdoor wedding ceremony Caswell House will accommodate that for sure.
This really is a charming wedding venue. It has three medieval barns and has space for 200 evening guests. Imagine also your luxurious drinks reception in a gorgeous courtyard. Perfect opportunity for me as a wedding photographer to capture amazing candid photos of people enjoying your special day. Be sure to get in touch with them to arrange a visit.
Barnsley House
Of all of the Outdoor Wedding Venues In The Cotswolds, this is another that I’ve photographed before. This Luxury Floral Wedding was for Paul and Cecile and it was a delight to shoot. The venue is another exclusive venue. One of the great things about the venue is how intimate, private and luxurious it feels. If those three words tie in with what you’re looking for in a wedding venue be sure to get in touch with these guys.
While shooting as a Barnsley House Wedding Photographer, I got to really feel the vibe this venue gives off whilst there is a wedding going on. Its gorgeous gardens make for the perfect hangout for your guests between the wedding ceremony and the evening reception.
