Set in the beautiful countryside, this wedding venue is a perfect location for a wedding and why I love being a Peckforton Castle Wedding Photographer. Weddings come in all sorts of shapes and sizes from manor houses to tipis on a farm. Because getting married in a castle is about as fairytale as you like.
As a Cheshire wedding photographer I want to make sure I’m doing more than just taking photos of a wedding. I want to capture the feelings of a wedding too. With the ceremony rooms here at the castle providing an elegant and romantic atmosphere, it really helps get the entire guest list in the mood. Because the venue is also surrounded with beautiful grounds it allows for amazing photography and location that’s able to wow your guests.

Wedding Ceremonies At Peckforton
As I mentioned above, regarding the feelings I want to portray in my wedding photography, wedding ceremonies at Peckforton Castle really do have a sense of elegance about them.
The Great Hall has beautiful stained glass windows and vaulted ceilings, they have a more classical chapel within the grounds and The Hexangonal room which is full of beautiful light making this any photographers dream! The recent wedding I shot here had the wedding ceremony in The Grand Hall, though anywhere on the ground here would be a perfect location for any wedding.

A Wedding Party At Peckforton Castle
The wedding you see featured here on this page during my time as a Peckforton Castle Wedding Photographer. Steph and Dearg’s wedding took place on a cold winters day though the wedding day was anything but cold and wintery! From the bridal preparations the day was full of smiles, warmth and happiness. Steph even had her nan as an honorary bridesmaid. Having met with the bride and groom the day before the wedding I knew it was going to be an amazing wedding.
I knew they were a couple who just wanted to have a good time and a good party to suit! This entire wedding from start to finish was an amazing day. From hanging out with the groom whilst he was sipping whiskies with his buddies through to the cutting of the cake and the first dance. It was a pleasure shooting this wedding and can’t wait to take many more wedding photos here at this amazing Cheshire wedding venue.
