Marone and Olly’s Scarlett Hall Wedding in Cheshire, 25th May 2025
Intro
Marone and Olly got married at Scarlett Hall in Cheshire on 25th May 2025, and it was the perfect mix of black tie energy with a proper homely, modern country house feel.
Everything happened at the venue with the ceremony led by registrars, no travel, no church, just a relaxed day built around their guests having the best time. Scarlett Hall is one of my favourite venues in Cheshire for exactly this reason. It feels intimate, personal, and calm, while still looking incredible in photos.

The vibe at Scarlett Hall
There is something about Scarlett Hall that makes people settle quickly. It is welcoming, comfortable, and full of spaces where real moments happen naturally.
This wedding was a great example of that. It was small and intimate, and the whole day felt unforced. The owners, Gail and Chris, are a big part of why it works so well. They create that “you can actually breathe” atmosphere, and it shows in how everyone moves through the day.
Scarlett Hall is also known as Parr Green Hall, so if you have searched for either name, you are in the right place.
Morning prep with snooker, calm light, and a kitchen full of people
The day started in a way that instantly told me what kind of wedding it would be.
The lads were playing snooker and hanging out, the girls were relaxing in the beautiful master bedroom, and the light was properly unreal, sorry I will not use that word, the light was properly stunning, clean, flattering, and consistent.
One of my favourite moments from the morning was how many guests naturally ended up in the kitchen area, eating homemade lasagne and chatting like it was a big family get together. That is always a good sign. When people feel at home, the photos feel more honest.
Why they chose an indoor ceremony
Even though the sun was out all day, Marone and Olly chose to have an indoor ceremony because they did not want the weather question hanging over them.
That decision paid off. It kept everything simple, and it meant everyone stayed present rather than watching the sky. The ceremony was led by registrars at Scarlett Hall, and the room had a lovely warmth to it. Intimate weddings like this always hit differently because every face in the room matters.
Confetti at Scarlett Hall
I loved the confetti photos from this wedding.
Scarlett Hall gives you a great setup for that moment because guests can gather in close without it feeling messy or rushed. Confetti works best when everyone is tight in, the couple keep moving, and nobody is overthinking it. Marone and Olly absolutely nailed it, big smiles, proper movement, and a lot of energy from the guests.
Lawn games, sunshine, and a relaxed pace
After the ceremony, the day opened up into exactly what they wanted. Guests hanging out, lawn games, drinks, sun on faces, and that easy atmosphere you only get when the timeline is not crammed.
This is one of the reasons Scarlett Hall wedding photography works so well when you like documentary coverage. There are loads of little pockets of connection happening at once, and you can photograph it all without pulling people away from the day.
Portraits that stay natural and quick
We kept the couple portraits brief, natural, and relaxed. No long disappearing act, no stiff posing, just gentle guidance and a wander in the best light.
The light was absolutely beautiful for portraits, soft, flattering, and consistent. That gave us the chance to create photos that feel editorial, while still looking like the couple, not like they are performing.

Speeches, espresso martinis, and the best kind of atmosphere
The speeches were a highlight. The words from the speakers were genuinely brilliant, the kind that land because everyone in the room is close to the couple and fully invested.
Add espresso martinis for guests and you have the perfect setup for the evening. People loosen up, energy lifts, and the party begins before the party officially begins.
First dance and dancing the night away
Marone and Olly’s first dance was a beautiful moment, and after that it turned into one of those dancefloors where nobody needs convincing.
That is always the best ending. A relaxed day, semi formal style, lots of fun, and a proper celebration.
