When people host their weddings in the Lake District they often want the atmosphere of the lakes brought to life in their wedding photos. Being a Lake District Wedding Photographer has given me plenty of experience in doing just that.

I knew from speaking with Stephanie and Ian who married here at Lodore Falls that they love the lakes and although they found it difficult making a decision with there being so many great venues they knew that this place was perfect for them.
When getting married in the Lake District, it would be rude not to get married outside. One of the reasons many couples go for outdoor wedding ceremonies at Lodore Falls is that its situated right next to Derwent Water. No down get me wrong its not like the ceremony is on the shores of the lake. Although its super close and from the doors of the hotel you can see incredible views across the lake. This is another reason why wedding photography here is great. There are so many opportunities nearby to take great photos. Like the photo you see at the top of the page take at Surprise View. Just a short 10 minute drive from the venue.
Not only do couples travel to the Lake District to host their weddings. Wedding photographers will travel from all over to shoot weddings here too. With so many reasons to get married in the Lake District. There are also many reason for photographers to want to shoot weddings here.
