Dodford Manor Wedding Photography

I absolutely love this wedding venue. So making this Dodford Manor Wedding Photography for Fiona + Connor was such a pleasure. We had the most fantastic weather imaginable for a wedding in the Northamptonshire countryside. I’m sure you’ll see from the wedding photos below how good the weather was for this newly married couple. I just wanted to talk a little about the venue and how much I love it from a wedding photographer’s perspective.

This exclusive-use wedding venue, known as a “midlands gem” is a family-run wedding venue and you really do get that intimate homely feeling when you’re there. I witnessed how great the staff were towards the couple and the effort they put into the timeline and the day all running so smoothly. If you’re looking for a really nice wedding venue that has great food, great fizz, and a really warm atmosphere. You may have just found the wedding venue you’re looking for in Dodford Manor.

The great thing about it being an exclusive use wedding venue is that you know that the only people that will be there will be your wedding guests, bridesmaids groomsmen, and your close family members. Sounds like a great start for a wedding to me. The views of this venue span over 20 acres of glorious Northamptonshire countryside. Such a great place to marry the love of your life in this grade II listed building.

This was my first time shooting a wedding at Dodford Manor and I really hope it’s not my last. I cant that the newlyweds for having me along to capture their day. It was such a great day that I’m sure any wedding guests walking around taking photos with their cameras would have got some great wedding photos themselves. As a professional photographer though, I really loved working hard and putting into as much of this wedding as possible. I know how important a wedding day is to a bride and groom. There are so many important guests there on the day I want to capture as many moments as possible in this, most beautiful setting, Dodford Manor.
