Cragwood Country House Wedding Photography
I love to photograph weddings in the Lake District especially at wedding venues that are as intimate as this. Lake Windermere is one of the most fascinating lakes in the world and Cragwood Manor is right on its banks. Not only is it so close to Lake Windermere but its surrounded by the the Langdale Pikes and fells. Its such a beautiful place and I wanted to share some Cragwood Country House Wedding Photography with you and a little about why this is one of many Lake District Wedding Venues I love to shoot weddings at.
Country House Wedding Ceremonies
Cragwood country house is both licensed to hold marriage and civil partnership ceremonies. You can either have your wedding ceremony inside the beautiful wooden panelled room or if you have great weather you can opt for the garden gazebo. Although this venue may not look huge it can hold up to 80 wedding guests for your big day. This venue was voted the “Wedding Venue of the Year 2019” by Cumbria Tourism. Its absolutely your preference though I’m sure an outdoor wedding ceremony with the Lake District air in your lungs must be a firm favourite.
Wedding Cruise On Windermere
Unfortunately when I captured my most recent Cragwood Country House Wedding Photography it was December and it was much too cold to go out on the lake post wedding ceremony. Though it’s such an incredible option. Especially if you having a summer wedding. I’ve spent time on Lake District Cruises before with wedding parties and they’re so much fun and a great way to treat your wedding guests. It really brings everyone together. Allows you to enjoy Lake Windermere as newlyweds with all of those most important to you. This would make not only amazing wedding photos but amazing memories for you and your guests.
Wedding Breakfast At Cragwood
When the ceremony room is converted into your wedding breakfast room it becomes a warm and characteristic place for you to enjoy your meal and speeches with your wedding guests. This image below shows how beautiful your wedding breakfast room could look at your wedding. Incredibly decorated by Wild + Romantic. I’ve photographed this part of a wedding day in huge rooms and sometimes there is too much distance between everything. Its not cramped in here but close together so that it feels super homely. The staff here are super friendly and helpful too.
