This Merseyside wedding venue is one of the closest wedding venues to me. Thats why i’m super happy to share my Knowsley Hall Wedding Photography with you. This massive 2500 acre estate is just an incredible place to host a wedding. It opened in 1495 and during its history its had some amazing visitors including royalty. Imagine having your fairytale dream wedding here and your even becoming a part of this rich history.
I love the long drive from the outset gates to Knowsley Hall. Driving through the estate has an incredible sense of grandeur and as your get closer it just gets more impressive.
A Merseyside Wedding
Time and time again I’ve mentioned that my favourite wedding venues to photograph are venues that are exclusive. Weddings are such an intimate affair that having the place all to your self and your wedding guests is very important. This exclusive wedding venue is in a great location as a North West wedding venue. Close to the city of Liverpool and super easy to get to from Manchester and nearby towns such as Southport and Chester. If fact the last 3 weddings that I photographed here at Knowsley hall, the bride and groom where from either of these locations mentioned. The North West is not short of a really good wedding venue so competition is tough but this venue ranks amongst the best for sure.
If you’re planning a wedding here and are still undecided on your wedding photographer I’d love to hear from you. I understand that planning a wedding can be tough so I’d love to have a chat with you to get to know you. Getting to know my couples is a vital part of my wedding photography. You can also visit my portfolio to see more of the work I’ve created. This wedding venue is just an incredible place for anyone to have a camera with them really. I constantly have guests telling me how lucky I am to be photographing a wedding at such an amazing venue.
If you have already booked your wedding here then you’ll not need my input of the gorgeous Stucco Ballroom. This stunning wedding ceremony room can hold up to 132 wedding guests. The ceiling in here is amazing with hand crafted gold leaf decor. It still has the original fireplace that dates back to when the room was first created in the 18th century. I love how the light shines through the tall windows helping to creates amazing wedding photos of your ceremony.
Wedding Breakfast & Guest Accommodation
As a creative and someone who comes to this venue to make Knowsley Hall Wedding Photography, you’d think that these two topics are not too relevant. However they are super important to how my images turn out. You see as i’m walking about with my camera and in between the moments of the bridal preparations to the cake cutting. I’m still focusing on what wedding guests are up to. Everyone knows that good food makes people happy. Thus making all of the wedding guests have a great time making for awesome wedding photos. Did you know that the Earl and Countess of Derby personally taste and approve all of the dishes before they go on to the menus!
Knowsley Hall has a 5 star gold standard by Visit Britain and of all of the stately homes in the UK this is the only place to have this! They currently have 16 ensuite bedrooms for all of your wedding guests to use. The countess of Derby has designed all of the room herself and the entire place just screams luxury.
