“From the very first moment we saw his work on his website and Instagram page we knew he was the exact person we wanted to help capture our special day. After having a chat with Ste and meeting up at our wedding venue for a pre-wedding photoshoot, he helped us plan everything out and suggested ways to help make our day go smoothly. We are not usually a couple who are used to having their photo taken so it was a bit daunting having the spotlight on us. Ste had suggested the pre-wedding photoshoot and it completely changed the way we felt and loved it! He provided us with invaluable pointers, also due to his free-flowing natural photography we felt so relaxed and even forgot the camera was there. It just felt like we were having an afternoon out with one of our friends. We received the photos shortly after the shoot and were amazed by the results. We really could not wait for the big day! As for our wedding day, Ste again was exceptional. We are both so grateful for him capturing the amazing photographs and all the little pre-wedding tips from Ste fell into place and the day went completely smoothly. Ste captured EVERY single emotion that day. When we look through the photos from our wedding we get to re-live the whole day. From the getting ready bit, both bride and groom, to walking down the aisle, laughing and crying during speeches, chatting with our loved ones and dancing the night away. It felt like Ste was part the family on our wedding day. He bonded with the whole party and created such beautiful images that we all love. His attention to detail is impeccable and his creativity is genius! It felt like Ste had a genuine interest in us as a couple and forming a relationship with the both of us. We felt so at ease with him and it felt natural having him around. He listened to everything that we asked for and planned our day to perfection. We were so lucky to have a lovely sunny day on our wedding day. Ste timed everything though so we had the correct lighting which then created such beautiful photographs. We are both truly grateful for the wonderful work that Stephen Walker produced from the pre-wedding shoot, all the way through to the final details of our finished photographs of our special day. We cannot thank Ste enough for the moments that he captured and his work being absolutely brilliant. What a truly talented photographer who brings a warm, friendly approach to his work and creates absolute perfection. The day will stay with us forever and having Ste Walker as our photographer was one of the best decisions in all of our planning for our special day. Thank you for the memories and we will both be eternally grateful for what you created.

“From the first time I saw Ste’s work I knew he’d be the guy for us – we loved the emotion and natural moments he was able to capture from all of his weddings. We first met Ste 18 months before our wedding and felt instantly at ease, he spoke about how he understands that it can be awkward to have your photo taken and as such tries to be as quick and discreet as possible… sold! Fast forward 17 months and we met again for our pre-wed shoot. Ste did a great job at putting us at ease when he was taking our photos and within no time we’d forgotten about the camera and were just having a good time. The photos he captured here were amazing and made us so excited for our wedding. When it came to the wedding Ste fitted in like one of our guests and it was a pleasure to have him there. We had so many comments from guests about how good Ste was at being in the right place at the right time and how excited they were to see the photos as ‘they could tell they will be good.’ We received our photos earlier this week (around 6 weeks after the wedding) and made a night of it to go through them – I actually would recommend doing this to all future couples. Ste did the most amazing job of capturing our day! We laughed and cried our way through the photos as if we were reliving the day again! I couldn’t recommend Ste enough to anyone – if you’re considering booking, just do it. It’ll be the best decision you make for your wedding. Ste… thank you, thank you, thank you! We absolutely love all of our photos and will enjoy reliving our day over and over through them.”

“Wow. How do I start this review other than by stressing how fantastic, friendly, skilled and precise Ste is, not only with his research of the areas and surrounding areas/of our chosen wedding location but pin pointing exactly why we chose our location and capturing that perfectly in every photo. As I’m sure every Bride – to be feels, I was a little anxious waking up on my wedding day, to say the least. Ste kept in touch throughout the run up to our wedding, which I found put me at ease as I could feel his excitement for us and our big day and knew he wanted to do a great job for us. The day of the wedding he ensured to find out exactly what I wanted, one of the reasons I chose Ste was because of his fabulous natural shots, capturing every moment so perfectly that when we received all our wedding photos I could literally relive the whole day. Ste was willing to travel to different locations, capturing me, my bridal party, my husband and his groomsmen, all getting ready for the biggest day of our lives! He took the time to make an effort with my family, fitting in like a good family friend, taking in who meant the most to me, which reflected in his photos perfectly. As I was getting ready, he was asking me questions, how I felt, why The Lake District was so special to me and my husband, and why it felt so natural to be making the biggest commitment of our lives there. There were tears as the wedding approached, one of my bridesmaids couldn’t be there due to having a very unwell young baby, and was living in hospital with her. We decided to facetime Sarah, my bridesmaid and best friend, so she could see me in my dress, and Ste had the most fantastic idea of capturing this moment, which I am eternally grateful for, so despite Sarah not being there physically, she will now always feel involved in my wedding thanks to Ste. This is just one example of the efforts he makes to ensure he does the best job for you. Throughout the whole day Ste didn’t stop, just constantly capturing every moment, everyone’s facial expressions, tears, smiles things that I didn’t even know were happening as you’re so caught up in your own emotion. I was conscious of not being able to afford a videographer, and thankfully Ste’s photos are so detailed and thorough, I truly thank my lucky stars I didn’t waste my money as his photos tell the whole story of our day perfectly. I feel when you’re planning such a large event it’s easy to get caught up in research, not knowing who’s best and who will do a good job, for less money. But I urge you to contact Ste, he will offer a pre-wedding photo shoot which will prove to you why he’s such a good choice to capture your special day. We had the most amazing time, Ste made friends with all my other suppliers too and has since worked with a couple of them and has kept in touch with me to let me know- going above and beyond. It felt more as if he was a guest, his photos captured every angle, from what the guests saw to what we experienced, to the absolutely beautiful scenery of our venue, I literally couldn’t ask for more! I hope to keep in touch with Ste, and recommend him to every single one of my friends who will get engaged, I have already asked him if he would be willing to do a pregnancy/baby photoshoot when that time arrives! “We both fell in love with your photography. It was paramount to us that our wedding photographs reflected as much of the emotion of the day, and personalities of the people involved as possible and from seeing your work you can really see that in the faces of the people you photograph. From that point it was very easy to eliminate other photographers we were looking at and focus on you. What really cinched the deal for us was just how down to earth and friendly you are. We trusted you with our wedding because we felt so secure with your portfolio of existing weddings and we felt like you truly understood what we wanted and we felt like you could absolutely deliver on that. We both feel absolutely elated and overwhelmed with the work that you have done. We cant believe how perfect our wedding photos are and how well your photos capture our day. Looking back through all of the photos we can both remember how we felt at that exact time, things we said, little jokes and moments together. Also on our wedding day you were incredible at just blending into the background and getting the most incredible candid shots. I honestly don’t know how you could improve on what you’re doing, you have an incredible talent of capturing raw emotion. I would say to a potential client that if they want to remember their day exactly as it was then they should hire you for their photography. Every single photograph captures a small moment of the day, the tears, laughter, joy, elation and exhaustion, and I know that every time we look at our photos, whether that be tomorrow or twenty years from now, I will be able to remember every second and feeling from our day, and that is what we are so grateful for. I felt like you were exceptional value for money and we absolutely got our moneys worth! You really went above and beyond for us and we are extremely grateful. We’ll always recommend you to anyone who is looking for a photographer and any life events we want captured we’ll be coming to you first! Xx”

I recommend him to everyone. Such a kind man, and also wasn’t afraid to get down in the grass for a pic. There is absolutely nothing that I could say for him to improve on.
