Hampshire Wedding Photographer
I am a Liverpool based wedding photographer but I love to shoot all over the UK and Europe. This time I was lucky enough to be a Hampshire Wedding Photographer.
One of my favourite things about taking bookings all over the UK is the travel. Seeing new places, meeting new people helps me see things differently whilst gaining inspiration for my photography.
I’ve known Joe for many years and when he asked me to shoot his wedding I was super excited. Nothing to do with the wedding being in a tree house or anything! No, it really was a pleasure. I’ve known him for 13 or so years and to be there on his wedding day was awesome enough.
Now that I’ve captured it all to be remembered forever makes me even more proud.
Joe & Vertiy got married at this amazing Tree House Venue in Hampshire. It was a fun filled and emotional day from start to finish.
Here is a little of how the day went;
Getting Ready In A Cottage
Verity chose her bridal prep location in a stunning little cottage just a few minutes from the location of the actual wedding. Beaulieu is such a stunning location for a wedding. The New Forrest is a great location for photography even if there isn’t a wedding on! This small cottage was a great location as it had beautiful surrounds and amazing light coming in through the windows.
The First Look
Joe was waiting patiently with his best man as there was a slight delay with some guests arriving but it was all sorted. In fact like I’ve mentioned in previous wedding posts. I love to see the build up of anticipation. It adds so much more emotion and narrative to the images. I hope you can almost feel the emotion in the images below. That is what I try to do best. I try and anticipate the anticipation and create the perfect wedding photos by having more than just one story in a photograph.
The Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony was beautiful. Small with not many guests but enough for this tree house wedding. They severed Pimms and once the ceremony started the light came through the beautiful windows and lit up the bride and groom helping me create some beautiful wedding photos. Things got a little emotional like they normally do during the ceremony and it was a huge mixture.
A Tree House Wedding
If you’ve ever thought of having a tree house wedding then this is the place to do it. I know its not very central in the UK but its a beautiful part of the country and a great excuse to get out and explore. I love the natural and rustic feel to a wedding like this. The wedding venue is super eco friendly too! They only allow for 12 weddings per year so make sure you book in advance! With the tree house being set in the woods it allows for a perfect woodland wedding. All year round the venue will be simply stunning.
The Wedding Reception
This wedding reception had a great feel to it. I mean I’ve already mentioned that its in a tree house! Joes speech teared up a few people and at the same time made everyone laugh with his impression of Forrest Gump!
The First Dance
This amazing wedding was ended with an awesome afterparty that began with the first dance of Joe & Verity. Surrounded by all their best friends and family members. Id like to wish such an amazing couple the best of luck for their future together.
