Engagement Shoot Locations In Liverpool
Here is a short list of some of my favourite places to photograph couples in Liverpool. These Engagement Shoot Locations In Liverpool should give you an idea of the type of shoot you would like. No matter who you are, I’m guessing that you’ll want to look amazing on your wedding day. Now no matter who your wedding photographer is I always recommend having a pre wedding shoot with your photographer. Its a great way for you and your wedding photographer to get to know each other. Its also a great way for you to experience being photographed in this way. This will give you so much reassurance on your wedding day. Once more this will lead on to your wedding photography being much more organic and authentic as you’ll be much more relaxed about the photography.
Creative Couple Shoot Liverpool Waterfront
The first location on the list is The Liverpool Water Front. Although I’m mostly a documentary style photographer I love to get creative with this. Liverpool Water Front is an excellent location for this. When I shoot here I pretty much shoot from outside the Liver Buildings and all the way down to the Albert Dock. I love shooting here because its really open and I can really create some creative images. Its great to shoot here and if you’d like to see more from this shoot then check it out on this blog.
Formby Beach Shoot
I’m super lucky to live just a 15 minute drive from this amazing beach. When the weather is right here the images are always just awesome. My couple are always blown away by them. I try not to take to much credit as the light is so good here it makes my job a little easier. This particular image was taken at around 8:30pm on a July evening. If you want a shoot a little more intimate and romantic then this is a super cool location. See more from this shoot.
Liverpool City Centre
Liverpool City Centre is strange place to shoot. Its really limited but t the same time the options are endless. If your a creative couple and love new ideas and not afraid to show a little of your fun side then I think this is then best option for you. Couples and I pretty much work together to create something “different”. Romantic, loving and beautiful shots are cool for sure. However if you don’t want your images to look to similar to everyone else’s then its cool to get into the heart of the city and get creative! See Rachel + Paddy’s Shoot Here.
Pine Woodland Shoot
This pine woodland shoot was really close to Formby beach and if myself and my couples have enough time during our sessions we can sometimes do both the woodland and the beach. These woods here are just perfect for little and amazing pockets of light that really make my couples stand out within the awesome location. During this shoot with Mara + Tim it pretty much rained the whole time. They just embraced the rain and it really brought out the fun side of them. You can see these awesome rain shots on their blog post!
Georgian Quater Liverpool
Aynsely + Becks had booked me for their wedding and decided to go for a pre wedding shoot too. They specifically asked me for this shoot in the Georgian Quarter of Liverpool as Aysnley is an Architect and wanted to include some sort of architecture into the photography with a creative edge. I was so happy he suggested it because we made some amazing photographs. So many colours, shapes and little pockets of light everywhere. Another awesome location in Liverpool for an engagement shoot. You can see the rest of this shoot here.
The Liverpool Docks and Industrial area are really for those wanting a super creative an abstract shoot. Just outside the city centre its a location that I can really spend sometime to create something different for you and your fiancé. We can still make nice romantic images here but this location is primarily for those wanting something edgy. I love to include lines and shapes into the images here. Definitely a location for more creative types. See more from this shoot here.
Sand Dune Shoot
Ive not fully published this shoot with Lauren and Harrison who had their shoot close by to Formby and Crosby beach. The sand dunes here really do help make amazing images. Super relaxed, fun and natural. I often just check out the best spots and have the couples enjoy each others company. Most of my wedding photography has a reportage style to it with some beautiful portraits to go with. These sand dunes are perfect if you just want to sit back and enjoy spending some time with your partner.
Hope you enjoyed this short post on Engagement Shoot Locations In Liverpool. If you would like a shoot with me then I’d love to hear from you. Maybe you know another cool location for a shoot in Liverpool?
