Destination Couple Shoot France

Last year I photographed a beautiful wedding in Sorrento, Italy for Matthew & Lauren at Villa Zagara. I had the most wonderful time and met some amazing people at that wedding. Two of the people I met were Yana + Tavis. Two New Yorkers who asked me to shoot them in Positano on the Amalfi Coast. You can see some of those images here; Positano Shoot On The Amalfi Coast. This shoot was to celebrate the engagement of Yana + Travis. A few months later the couple asked if I would travel to NYC to shoot their city wedding in New York. Unfortunately, I want available for their big day.

Yeah it was such a shame as we got on so well and knowing I was a destination wedding photographer we thought we could have made it happen, but it wasn’t to be.

However, all was not lost as the couple kindly invited me out for part of their honeymoon in France to get some beautiful images of the on the Cote d’Azur. We found the most beautiful beach just outside of the city centre. I remembered the location from when I shot a wedding back in Nice a couple of years ago. My understanding of light really helps me to capture these images in this way. So I had to be sure that the logistics of the photoshoot were spot on in terms of timings for the sunset.
