One of my favourite summer shoots

Now that summer is finally over I want to talk about one of my favourite sessions during our summer months. I’m located right in the middle of four counties Cambridgeshire, Northampton, Leicestershire, and Lincolnshire. This makes it quite difficult for me to advertise where I’m based. A huge positive though is being right in the middle of the countryside, which makes for great outdoor photo shoots. There are so many locations to get a family photo shoot done its just picking one that’s the hard bit.

Most of my shoots start out with the kids being really shy and not wanting to look in to the camera but by the time I’m finished they don’t want to leave! They always want “just one more picture”. My secondary goal during my photo shoots is to have fun. It’s the best way to capture awesome images. If you want to hear more about what my clients think of my shoots and my photography check out my testimonial page.

So here below I have got some images from one of my favourite family photo shoots this season.

Vicki Miley brought along her two adorable kids Xander and Dexter and an awesome summer’s day. Like I said earlier in the post, kids often get shy and at first Dexter did not want to leave his mums side. By the time the shoot was over they where having such a good time in the woods that they didn’t want to leave and they almost forgot I was taking photos. When this happens you really get to see their personalities shine through. They are just themselves and had fun. If I was to offer any advice to a new photographer when shooting kids portraits is that make sure they are having fun. Once you’ve got this all the work is done for you and you simply just have to use your creativity to capture your amazing images.

Thanks for reading guys...!
